Appointments are scheduled to last between 53 and 60 minutes. These sessions are generally conducted virtually unless alternative arrangements are made. They are typically scheduled on a weekly or biweekly basis. I will make every effort to ensure consistent scheduling and kindly request that you do the same.
Kindly notify me at least 24 hours in advance should you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours ' notice may incur a fee (please refer to Billing / Fees for additional details), as the designated time is reserved exclusively for you.
Prior to scheduling an initial consultation, new clients are required to complete the necessary intake and consent documentation. Your appointment remains unconfirmed until all documentation has been completed and returned. This process allows me to review your information before our initial session and confirm that the services I offer suit your needs. If I do not receive the required documentation by the deadline, your appointment may be canceled or released. All necessary paperwork must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Appointments for which the documentation has not been submitted by the deadline may be canceled or released.
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We will discuss accepted payment methods and any details (e.g., self-pay rates, sliding scale, or insurance) during the intake process.
Telehealth sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. You are responsible for having a private space and a stable internet connection during our sessions.
What you share in therapy is confidential, with limited exceptions as required by law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others, suspected abuse or neglect, court orders). I will always aim to inform you if a situation arises that requires a breach of confidentiality.
I am not able to provide crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), go to your nearest emergency room, or contact local emergency services.
If you are a self-pay client, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Please let me know if you would like more information.
If you have any questions about these policies or anything else related to our work together, please don't hesitate to reach out. My goal is to make the therapeutic process as clear, comfortable, and supportive as possible.
